  Retiree Volunteers (HPARV)

Planning your retirement from HP or Agilent? Include some fun volunteer activities. Join Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Retiree Volunteers (HPARV) and help make a difference in your community. If you can spare an hour, a day, or more, HPARV is just for you. Experience new challenges, teamwork with fellow retirees and former co-workers -- plus make new friends and share the pride of accomplishment.

HPARV strives to improve the quality of life in our local communities by focusing efforts in the areas of education, the environment, and health and human services. We have retirees volunteering in a wide variety of community organizations. By giving a little of our spare time, we can make a difference. We strive to add value, not only to our own lives, but also to the communities in which we live.

HPARV is open to all HP and Agilent retirees and former employees with a minimum of ten years of service. Spouses of members are also welcome. HPARV is a standing committee of the Bay Area HPREC organization with program management provided by a steering committee of volunteers. For more information about HPARV and volunteer opportunities, please call our office in Palo Alto or send us an email.

Phone: 650.857.2410
Please leave a message, and a volunteer will return your call.

If you are already volunteering and do not receive a quarterly request from HPARV to report your hours, please let us know.  We'll send you a short form to complete and add your name to our list of "active" volunteers. If you are already on our list, please remember to report the hours you contribute when you receive a quarterly request. Tracking volunteer hours helps us demonstrate our viability as an organization and also keeps HP and Agilent informed about the work retirees are doing in the community to further the citizenship objectives of both companies.  Active volunteers are also invited to attend our annual volunteer recognition lunch which is held in November.
