Interesting and enjoyable activities are scheduled every other month. Most are day trips in the New England area with bus transportation provided. A Holiday Social in December and picnic in the summer are two popular repeat events.

Recent Activities:

March 02 Irish "bash" at Lantanna's in Randolph. Great entertainment by Irish singers and comedians following St. Patrick's lunch. A repeat of a very popular event.

April 02 Spring meeting at HP Burlington. Buffet lunch followed by Susan Simmons from human resources describing recent events and future prospects at Agilent.

May 02 Mohegan Sun Casino. Day of casino activities. Complementary buffet lunch. Forty two made the trip via bus from Burlington.

June 02 Picnic at Peter's Pond. Agilent will probably sell this longtime favorite recreation area in the near future. It was a last chance for retirees to go this beautiful Cape Cod vacation spot.

Future Activities:

July 24, 2002 Tour of Providence's "Little Italy". Fascinating pocket of Italian culture. Visit Italian bakery, point of interest and have lunch. Bus provided from Burlington, MA. $42 by July 16th to Monica Dickie, 48 Leigh St. Framingham, MA 01701.

Sept.11, 2002 Fall meeting at Burlington HP office. Election of directors. Interesting speaker. Buffet lunch.

Oct. 22-23 Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe VT. A mountain resort in the European tradition. Gourmet dinner at Lodge, lunch at Woodstock Inn. Evening entertainment at the lodge featuring Trapp family members. Visits to cider mill, chocolate factory, Cabot cheese and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. Beautiful walking trails, mountain scenery, of course. $239/person, double. $50 by July 15th, balance August 22nd to Monica Dickie.
